Renovation and Addition

The owner of this Lake Winnipesaukee island home determined that the layout of the existing house suited their main goals but needed modernization of aesthetics and a better visual connection to the lake front.

The renovations included all areas of the house, with the addition of a dormer to the master bed room to maximize the use of the existing room foot-print. It opened up the kitchen into the reception
porch which would become the dining area, and it expanded the lower level into a new reception space with lake front screen porch directly off that space. The new look utilized more minimalist details and clean lightmaterials to afford the previously non-descript lake house a new modern and sharp look.
