Historic Renovations and Adaptive Re-use
Berlin, New Hampshire

Recently completed in January 2015, the project revitalized the historic Notre Dame High School, that had sat dormant for many decades, into 33 service enriched senior apartments.

This $6.6 million project had many funding sources and agency overview, including partly funded through federal tax credits, therefore following the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Restoration.

Critical to the viability of the ongoing running costs the building utilizes a high performance building envelope in conjunction with wood pellet and heat pump technology.
